Catering, Local Cafe's Etc.
If you're keen eat in a style befitting the BrazilStudioMelbourne surrounds we recommend getting the good folk from Urban Entertaining or Earl Canteen to look after your culinary needs. These companies both frequently supply shoots in studio and are a great, hassle free option that will not disappoint.
There's also a great range of local cafe's if you want to venture out. Some of the more interesting include-
Twenty & Six, The Roasting Warehouse, The Auction Rooms, The Courthouse Hotel and Beatrix.
Melbourne's iconic Vic Market is 2.6km (around 10 minutes drive) from StudioMelbourne. A great resource for shoots requiring the rich range of produce on offer Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. From specialty fruit and vegetables, through to a rich array of butchery and deli items, the selection available is amongst the best and most diverse you'll find in Melbourne.
For your more run of the mill items, Woolworths, Arden Gardens is around 400m away, It's a full scaled supermarket with the complete range you would expect. Bowens Hardware and Timber is across the road from the Woolies, with an extensive timber yard geared to the builder (or set builder) & paint mixing on site, along with all the regular hardware offerings.
The Vic Market and more.
BrazilStudioMelbourne has drive-in access up to a height of 3.4m and width of 3.2m. 2 standard cars easily fit in the driveway, and the cyc is vehicle accessible also.
The convenience of being around 2km's from the Melbourne CBD usually guarantees that parking is not the easiest to find. Fortunately we have a few readily accessible options at hand. Aside from the 2 on-site parking spots, there is all day street parking Langford Street out front of BrazilStudioMelbourne, and also in the surrounding streets. Failing that, there is a very economical ($10.00 per day if you can believe it) undercover parking station at the Woolies, (168 Macauley Road, North Melbourne), which is only a 2-3 minute leisurely stroll from door to door!
